minecraft server <address> [java/bedrock] shows online player counts, capacity, version, and a server-reported player sample with an image card. Use a public hostname or IP, optionally followed by :port. Java is the default edition; Bedrock must be selected explicitly.

minecraft info <address> [java/bedrock] includes a detailed image card, status, player counts, version, server message, reported IP/port and SRV destination, software or game mode, protocol, and reported plugins or mods when available. With Attach Files permission it also attaches the normalized reported data as JSON. Unreported values stay unavailable rather than being guessed.

minecraft user <username> looks up a Minecraft Java player profile, not a server. minecraft profile <username> is an alias. The older minecraft <username> lookup still works, and mcuser remains an alias for the Minecraft group.

Server results come from mcstatus.io and may be cached. Player names are a possibly incomplete or customized sample, not a guaranteed full list of online players. Private and local addresses are rejected. Offline or unreachable does not prove a server is shut down; a provider failure is reported separately.

Server and info each allow one lookup per user every five seconds. They fall back to text if the card cannot render or Blood cannot attach files. These commands do not collect server activity history or produce a player leaderboard.
